Terms of Service
Effective July 26, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Master Your Medics platform, courses, assessments, books, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Accounts
You must provide accurate account information and are responsible for activity on your account. Accounts are personal — do not share credentials. Staff and administrator accounts require two-factor authentication. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
2. Enrollment and access
Course and bundle access is granted for the duration listed at purchase (typically six months for bundles, or the duration of your subscription). Access to Organization-sponsored courses continues for as long as your cohort membership remains active or as your Organization directs.
3. Organization students — completion and grade data
If you are enrolled through a school, college, training program, or other partner organization (an "Organization"), you understand and agree that your completion status, quiz and exam marks, competency progress, clinical rotation records, and other learning data are stored and made available to that Organization for the purposes of instructional oversight, grading, program management, and accreditation reporting to the regulatory bodies that oversee your program.
Your Organization is the record keeper for this information and may retain it for as long as required by its accrediting body or applicable law, even after your course, cohort, or subscription has ended. Requests to correct or delete these records must be directed to your Organization; we will assist where we are able but cannot unilaterally remove records the Organization is required to keep.
4. Acceptable use
- Do not copy, redistribute, resell, or publish course content, question banks, or exam materials.
- Do not attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or bypass access controls, rate limits, or exam integrity measures.
- Do not submit patient identifiers or other protected health information in patient care reports or open text fields.
- Do not misrepresent your identity, credentials, or affiliation with an Organization.
- Do not use the Services to harass other users, staff, instructors, or preceptors.
5. Payments, refunds, and subscriptions
Purchases are processed by Stripe or Shopify. Subscriptions renew automatically at the interval you selected until cancelled. You may cancel a subscription at any time from Account → Billing; access continues through the end of the current paid period. Digital course purchases and completed digital book downloads are generally non-refundable except where required by law or explicitly stated at purchase.
6. Physical books and shipping
Physical books are fulfilled through our Shopify store. Delivery times, shipping costs, and return eligibility are shown at checkout and governed by the Shopify order terms displayed at that time.
7. Intellectual property
All course content, videos, question banks, simulators, artwork, and branding are owned by Master Your Medics or its licensors and are provided to you under a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence for personal educational use. All other rights are reserved.
8. Educational use disclaimer
The Services are educational tools. They do not replace certified training, medical direction, or clinical judgment. Completion of a course or exam on the platform does not by itself confer certification or licensure — those are issued by the applicable regulatory body.
9. Warranty and liability
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising from the Services is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
You may close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms, non-payment, or as required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (payment, intellectual property, disclaimers, limits of liability, and Organization record retention) will survive.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email or in the platform. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
